Betsy - Fair
A massive highlight of 2015 for me was working with Betsy and Peter Jarrett on the string arrangements for Betsy's forthcoming EP. (Betsy a singer and songwriter completely off the brilliance scale as far as I'm concerned!) Fair is her first single, link to soundcloud here We recorded the strings at RAK with 16 players from the London Metroplitan Orchestra, conducted by Andy Brown. Love the pic below from the session.
Jasmine Thompson Fast Car
Great to see Jasmine's cover of Tracy Chapman's Fast Car at no1 on Sounth African ITunes. We put this together in December, a difficult time for me as I had big problems with my hearing - mixing it myself wasn't an option but luckily my good friend and amazing producer/mixer Ant Whiting came to the rescue!
