TIM BAXTER

 

Tim is a music producer, songwriter and orchestral arranger living in Kent, England. 

 

Tim studied film composition at the Royal College of Music in London and shortly after signed his first publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing. He has written with artists and songwriters as diverse as Paloma Faith, Andy Burrows, American Idol Katharine McPhee, Tia Sillers, John Newman, Susheela Raman, Jasmine Thompson and Judi Jackson. Tim is currently published by Warner Chappell. 

 

The last few years have seen Tim producing Smith& Burrows 'Funny Looking Angels', Andy Burrows critically acclaimed album  'Company', 2014 Mercury nominated artist Nick Mulvey, Rebecca Ferguson’s UK top 10 hit ‘Backtrack’ and various Editors acoustic tracks. Tim also co-produced the music soundtrack to BAFTA nominated 'The Snowman and the Snowdog' movie. Tim's productions for Jasmine Thompson have achieved YouTube views of around 350 million to date.

 

Tim’s orchestral arrangement and piano credits include John Newman's platinum certified 'Tribute’ album, Turin Brakes, Rizzle Kicks , Laroux, Lisa Mitchell, Pixie Lott, Tinchy Stryder, Becky Hill, Smith&Burrow, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Betsy , Soak, MMode and the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tim has recently mixed Judi Jackson's debut album, 'Live in London' as well as producing the new Andy Burrows album 'Reasons To Stay Alive', a collaboration with bestselling author Matt Haig (Fiction). The first single 'Barcelona' was released on 19th November 2019 and spent five weeks on the Radio2 A-list.

November 2020 sees the release of the first single from Judi Jackson's new studio album, Crashing Down, a song co-written with Judi.
